Term Life

🕊️ Life

Life insurance for a set number of years (the term) at level premiums. Simple, affordable, and the right fit for most people.

Term life insurance covers you for a set number of years — the “term,” typically 10, 20, or 30 — and pays a death benefit only if you pass away during that window. When the term ends, so does the coverage.

Because it has no cash-value or investment component, it’s far cheaper than permanent life insurance. A healthy 35-year-old can often get several hundred thousand dollars of 20-year coverage for the price of a streaming subscription or two.

For most people, term life is the right answer: buy enough to cover the years your family depends on your income — the mortgage, the kids growing up — and keep it simple. Many policies are convertible to permanent coverage later if your needs change.
