Medical Payments (MedPay)

🚗 Auto

Small, no-fault coverage for medical bills for you and your passengers after a crash, no matter who caused it.

MedPay is optional auto coverage that pays medical bills for you and your passengers after a crash, no matter who was at fault, up to a modest limit.

It’s fast, no-fault, and fills small but real gaps — deductibles and copays from your health plan, or bills for a passenger who has no coverage of their own. Limits are usually small (often $1,000 to $10,000), which keeps it inexpensive.

In no-fault states you’ll more often see the broader PIP instead. Where MedPay is available, it’s a cheap add-on that smooths over the immediate medical costs after an accident.

This is a friendly general explanation, not legal or policy language. Exact coverage depends on your policy, carrier, and state. 🤝
