Flatwork vs. structural — why does it matter?
They're separate comp classes with meaningfully different rates. Documented payroll splits mean you pay the cheaper rate on the work that qualifies.
Is washout runoff covered?
Standard GL excludes most pollution claims — contractors pollution liability fills that gap if you pour near drains or waterways.
Does GL cover a slab that just cracks?
Cracking alone is usually a workmanship/warranty issue; GL responds when your work damages OTHER property or injures someone. We'll walk you through the line.
